Bottles is a nearsighted mole who wears large, thick, Coke-bottle-framed glasses, originating from the Banjo-Kazooie series. In the games, he serves as a mentor to Banjo and Kazooie by teaching them various important aspects about the game, including their moves.
History
Club Nintendo comics
"Super Mario in Aloha Hawaii"
In the Club Nintendo comic, "Super Mario in Aloha Hawaii", Bottles brings Mario along on a trip to Hawaii. While there, the two get into many shenanigans, including entering into a golf tournament. However, they accidentally wreck the course and Bottles is last seen being chased by Mario into the horizon.
Minecraft
Through an update released on January 30, 2018, Bottles appears as a skin in the Wii U and Nintendo Switch versions of Minecraft alongside other Microsoft characters.[1]
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Bottles appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, in the background of the Spiral Mountain stage as part of the Banjo & Kazooie downloadable content pack. In addition, he appears as a spirit, with his new model in the game being used as artwork.
