Plok is the protagonist of the video game of the same name and its webcomic sequel. He is a large-eyed creature with the special ability to throw his arms and legs away, an easy-to-anger personality, and an unfortunate habit of exploding when aggrivated, who rules as the king of Akrillic Island, asserting his authority by placing flags with his face on them throughout the island, and is the nemesis of the Flea Queen. Plok appears twice in the Super Mario franchise, once on the planet Hösndösn in the German Club Nintendo comic "Super Mario: Verloren in der Zeit", taking part in the "intergalactical Olympics" of Hösndösn. He seems to be very sportive as he and Mario are the last two competitors in the games; it is also mentioned that they are breaking several records. Plok also appears as a sticker in the Mario Paint Players' Guide animation tutorial, Plok. Both of these appearances also feature an enemy from the game, the Flea.
