A Yoshi Minecart is a form the Yoshis can transform into in Yoshi's New Island by entering a door with a minecart sign on it.
In this form, the Yoshi can jump to grab items and the player can also move the control stick left to right to control the minecart. Like in every form in this game, Yoshi only has a limited amount of time to use his form but clocks scattered about the obstacle course can provide the player with more time to use the power-up. Going through a ring will cost Yoshi the power-up but will allow him to appear in another area.
