First appearance | Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (2013) |
Storches are yellow, torch-like birds that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Their name is derived from the word "torch." They appear in Dreamy Pi'illo Castle, in the Dream Worlds under the bridge to Mushrise Park. They are less common than some Dream World enemies, and because of that, they tend to appear in smaller groups like enemies do in the Real World. In battle, Storches attack by approaching Mario and stopping either far away or very close, setting fire to their eyes and touching the ground in line with Mario, causing a burst of fire to surf along the ground towards him while growing in size. Mario must dodge this by jumping over the flame before it touches him.
