Snow Brawl is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party 6 and Super Mario Party Jamboree. Its name is a pun on "snowball" and "brawl."

The Miracle Book page "Yoshi's Revenge" is based on this minigame. It shows Mario, Daisy, and Toadette having frozen all of Yoshi's Ukikis, but activating the page gives Yoshi new Shy Guys to counter the team of three.

Introduction

The team players attempt to throw snowballs at the solo player but miss. The solo player then runs into the back corner of their side, followed by four Ukikis or Shy Guys jumping into the arena.

Gameplay

The object of the minigame is to hit all players on the other side of the field. The lone player is given four computer-controlled teammates (Ukikis during the day and Shy Guys at night). In order to win, the solo player must hit all team players, and the three opposing players must hit the lone player (the four Ukikis or Shy Guys do not need to be hit to win). Each player must first create a snowball by pressing B Button/Single Joy-Con Bottom Button before they can throw it. Snowballs that hit each other are destroyed upon contact. Players hit by a snowball freeze and are eliminated. If time runs out, the minigame ends in a tie. The same occurs if a snowball hits both the solo player and the last remaining team player at the same time.

Ending

If the solo player wins, they and the remaining Ukikis or Shy Guys turn to the screen and do their victory animations. If the team wins, the remaining teammates turn to the screen and perform victory poses, while any remaining Ukikis or Shy Guys perform sad poses. If time runs out, the remaining players perform their losing animations. In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the scene changes and shows only the playable characters in their normal state, and they perform either a win or a loss. The Ukikis appear behind the solo player and join them in their victory or losing animation.

In-game text

Mario Party 6

  • Rules"One player, joined by three1 monkeys or Shy Guys, faces off against the other three players in a snowball fight for the ages!"
  • Advice"The solo player can use their monkey and Shy Guy teammates as defensive barriers!"

1 - This is an error in the in-game text, as there are actually four.

Super Mario Party Jamboree

  • "Snowball fight! It's one against three, but the Ukikis will help the solo player."
