Visit Koopa And Para-Koopa
Yoshi standing on Falling Rocks

Falling Rocks[citation needed] are platforms in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. When stood upon by Yoshi, they fall down into the ground, or off the screen. They shake when Yoshi stands on one, indicating that they will fall. They appear in a few levels, but mostly in the level Visit Koopa And Para-Koopa.

The rocks make a reappearance in the sequel to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS. They have the same effect as in the previous game, and they appear mainly in Level 4-1, Rock 'n' Fall.
