The second level of Artist On the Court.

Artist on the Court is a Special Game found in Mario Power Tennis. The minigame takes place in the grassy Peach Dome, with a large mural in the middle of the court. The player must paint the mural by shooting paint balls that appear from Warp Pipes, using the colors that correspond to the original picture that appears on the ground. A paint ball does not affect the mural if it hits a portion of the mural that has been painted correctly. Once the player finishes painting the mural with the correct colors, the game finishes. The music played on this court is an arrangement of "Inside the Castle Walls" from Super Mario 64.

In the Wii version, the player gets 10 minutes instead of 5 to finish the mural. Additionally, the color of whichever ball has been hit will automatically fill in every portion of the mural corresponding to that color.

Game modes[edit]

  • Single Player: The player must finish the mural painting in a restricted period of time in order to unlock another stage and make a time record.
  • Multiplayer: Players must finish the mural painting in order to make a time record; however, this mode does not unlock another stage.
