A Gold Bro[1] is an enemy in New Super Mario Bros. 2. They are a golden variant of the Hammer Bro, Boomerang Bro, and Fire Bro, any of which transforms into a Gold Bro only while a Gold Ring's effects are active. Gold Bros. throw coins, and can damage Mario and Luigi from direct contact only.
In Super Mario Party, Hammer Bro turns into a Gold Bro after using a Golden Drink.
