Mario Party Superstars Coin‑Sōdatsu! Space Land Sugoroku is a board game released as furoku in the October 2021 issue of the CoroCoro Ichiban magazine. The board game is themed after Mario Party Superstars. The game takes place in the version of Space Land seen in said game. Like most furoku board games, Mario Party Superstars Coin‑Sōdatsu! Space Land Sugoroku appears to be made almost entirely out of cardboard.
Details[edit]
The object of the game is similar to that of Mario Party Superstars, in that the player is to attempt to reach "first place" by the end of the game by collecting coins and stars. Certain spaces on the board allow players to gain up to three coins at once, as well as lose up to two coins at once. Certain spaces on the board also allow players to gain a star, while other spaces will subtract a star. The game also includes various minigames for the players to play. An object called the "Hyper Bowser Cannon" is also included, this being a cannon shaped like Bowser's head that shoots a Dice Block. At the end of the board, there is a space that allows players to shoot this cannon.
