“The Topkapi Palace, now a museum, was the residence of Ottoman sultans (kings) for centuries. Mehmet the Conqueror built the first palace in 1453, a few years after defeating Turkey. The palace was a busy place. The sultan was allowed four wives and any number of slave girls. The slaves lived in a locked portion of the palace called the Harem. Bathing was ceremonial in Turkey. The sultan's wives had their own bathtubs, but the harem shared large baths that resembled ornate swimming pools.”
Pamphlet, Mario is Missing! (PC)

The Topkapi Palace (Turkish: Topkapı Sarayı; Ottoman Turkish: طوپقپو سرايى, ṭopḳapu sarāyı), known as the Topkapi Museum in the PC versions of Mario is Missing!, is a palace built in 1460 and finished in 1478 under Sultan Mehmed II's orders. It served as the home for Ottoman sultans for four centuries.[1] The Topkapi Museum is located in Istanbul, Turkey.

In the PC versions of Mario is Missing!, a Koopa Troopa stole the Turkish towel from the museum, forcing the museum to close until Luigi returns it.
