Void Kong, Donkey Kong Bananza

Void Kong is the president of Void Company and the main antagonist of Donkey Kong Bananza. He is a small marmoset-like primate with sharp, golden teeth and a vibrantly patterned fur coat. His fingernails and toenails are painted purple, and he wears golden earrings shaped like banana bunches. Prior to the events of the game, he was a struggling prospector, although his fortunes turned in his favor after he inadvertently discovered gold from the Banandium Root, ultimately driving him to avarice. Void Kong rides a rock shaped like a banana with a purple saddle on it, and also makes use of the All-Mine Remote, a banana-shaped remote control which he utilized to turn living creatures into purple rock-like formations. Void Company's emblem is based on Void Kong's face. Void Kong aims to reach the Planet Core to wish for the world's riches.[1] He was also responsible for turning Pauline into the Odd Rock.[2]

Ultimately, Void Kong is defeated by being punched into his Pay-Dirt Piledriver by King K. Rool after Pauline is forced to reawaken him in the Forbidden Layer, with K. Rool promptly confiscating Void Kong's discarded device and making use of it during his fight with Donkey Kong and Pauline. He ultimately survived, as later revealed by Poppy Kong in the post-game, and ran off after Grumpy Kong took pity on Void Kong and freed him from his machine's wreckage. When revealing this, Poppy also implies she intends to track down Void Kong and "hire" him, overworking him to such an extent that he is left begging for early retirement as revenge for his treatment of her.

In the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC, the Eelevator informs Donkey Kong that Void Kong has appeared on DK Island, having landed his Pay-Dirt Piledriver close by, with two Fractones from the Forbidden Layer assisting him in his research. When Donkey Kong and Pauline travel to DK Island and confront Void Kong, he explains that he has discovered a raw form of gold called emerald ore and employs the two to collect some for him, planning to monopolize the ore for profit. After talking to him, the Emerald Rush mode is unlocked. When DK unlocks all the initial VoidCo rewards, Void Kong tells the two to report back to him. He tells them that he plans to use the ores energy to recharge his Pay-Dirt Piledriver and achieve infinite wealth. Unbeknownst to him, Grumpy Kong and Poppy Kong had sabotaged his machine, with the other Kongs promising to keep watch of Void. Once all VoidCo rewards have been collected, Void Kong can be refought on DK Island at any time by talking to him.
