Template:Levelbox World 8-5 is the fifth level of World 8 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Layout

This course is an auto-scrolling course, featuring Remote-Control Platforms on tracks that can be moved by rotating the Wii Remote. At the start, Parabombs descend. Past the midway point, Lava Geysers and Crowbers are encountered by the player. The bottom of the level is filled with lava. The first and third Star Coins can be easily obtained by jumping, while the second coin, located among lava geysers below the Remote-Control Platform, requires a Bob-omb to be thrown at it.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: At the beginning of the level, the first Star Coin is floating atop a platform, and can be easily jumped to.
  • Star Coin 2: Shortly after the midway point, the second Star Coin is floating just barely above the Lava. Mario and co. must throw a Bob-omb at it to obtain it.
  • Star Coin 3: Shortly before the exit Warp Pipe, the third Star Coin is floating high in the air. Mario and co. can either jump to it from the right side of the Tilt Lift before it falls to the lower rail, or use the Crowbers to reach it.
