The Banisher is Dry Bones's first special kart in Mario Kart DS. It is an off-road buggy in the shape of Dry Bones himself, featuring the top part of his skull, his shell and his ribs, with large wheels. The emblem is located on either sides of the shell. It has excellent acceleration (tying with the Standard DB and the Dry Bomber), handling, and items. Its weight and drift are average, but it is the slowest vehicle in the game. Its weight is tied with the Light Dancer, Poltergust 4000, Shooting Star, Standard DB, Standard SG, Standard TD and Standard YS. Its handling is tied with the Egg 1. It is the lightest of all karts with a high items rating.
