1-up Blast is a minigame found in Green Toad Houses in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The minigame is played in a room with tracks floating above four cannons. Moving on the tracks are balloons worth different numbers of 1-Ups. Each world has a different configuration of tracks and 1-Up balloons. To play this minigame, each player must choose a cannon, then tilt to change the angle at which their character will be fired out of the cannon. Players must then press to fire the cannons. Players cannot get 1-Ups by touching the balloons themselves; they can get 1-Ups only by using the cannons. Each player wins 1-Ups equal to the total value of the balloons their character hits and pops. Each player can fire a cannon only once, and each balloon can be popped only once.
