Movie)|Snow Kingdom]], and he is seen restraining the [[Penguin King]] after [[Kamek]] forces him and [[Penguin|his subjects]] aside. The Koopa General is later seen with the Koopa Troop at the celebration of acquiring the [[Super Star]] on [[Bowser's Castle|Bowser's airship]], where he listens to Bowser's victory speech. Later, he interrupts Bowser and Kamek acting out the former's marriage proposal to [[Princess Peach|Peach]] and informs him that the [[Kong army]], joined by Peach and [[Mario]], intends to surprise them by taking a shortcut via [[Rainbow Road]]. Koopa General (also known as General Koopa)[1] is a supporting antagonist of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is a Koopa Paratroopa sporting a blue-colored shell with spikes, blue boots, a blue-plated gorget with shoulder guards, and a blue spiked helmet with Bowser's icon on it.

Koopa General is the general of the Koopa Troop, and he is portrayed as much more stern and rigid than his soldiers. He is first seen guiding the Koopa Paratroopas as the army attacks the Snow Kingdom, and he is seen restraining the Penguin King after Kamek forces him and his subjects aside. Koopa General is later seen with the Koopa Troop at the celebration of acquiring the Super Star on Bowser's airship, where he listens to Bowser's victory speech. Later, he interrupts Bowser and Kamek acting out the former's marriage proposal to Princess Peach and informs him that the Kong army, joined by Princess Peach and Mario, intends to surprise them by taking a shortcut via Rainbow Road. Koopa General then guides the counter-offensive by riding a giant bulldozer with maws towards Mario. Determined to kill Mario, he destroys Mario's Standard Kart with two Bullet Bills from his vehicle and then a Pipe Frame Mario hijacked from one of the Koopa Troopas, but he manages to hide from Koopa General on his bulldozer and get onto Donkey Kong's kart, who blows up Koopa General's bulldozer with a Rocket Barrel. As Mario and Donkey Kong drive away, Koopa General emerges unharmed from the explosion. Infuriated, he throws away his spear and helmet and retracts into his blue shell, then flies at the two and blows up on them, destroying the road and making them plummet to the sea below and get eaten by a Maw-Ray. Later, however, Mario and Donkey Kong manage to cooperate and escape. Koopa General is not seen again for the rest of the film.
