Groove Guys are a variation of Shy Guys dressed as court jesters that appear in Paper Mario. During battles, Groove Guys often dance to call in reinforcements. They can summon either Shy Guys, Medi Guys, or additional Groove Guys with their dancing, and can also make Mario temporarily Dizzy but can also shy dive Mario for damage in the same manner as Shy Guys.

At the end parade, some Groove Guys are dancing, while General Guy plays music.

Groove Guys were going to reappear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but were cut from the game.[1]
