Terminal Velocity is a microgame in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, and returns in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
Gameplay
A trolley goes down a railroad track from the right, and a train station with some passengers is seen on the left. The player must hit the button at the right time to activate the brakes so that the train will stop at the station. Braking does not stop the train instantly, it gradually slows it to a stop.
- 1st level difficulty: The station is wide, taking up almost a quarter of the in-game screen's length.
- 2nd level difficulty: The station is 2⁄3 of its original length.
- 3rd level difficulty: The station is only 1⁄3 of its original length.
The player will fail the microgame if the trolley overshoots the station and hits the rocks, if it is not close enough to the train station to pick up the passengers or if it fails to come to a complete stop (which can happen when the game is played at a high speed).
