Mario Stadium (tennis court)

Mario Stadium is a court that appears in Mario Hoops 3-on-3, Mario Sports Mix, and Mario Tennis Open. It is the first court in the Mushroom Tourney and the Mushroom Cup respectively.

Mario Stadium is a court in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It is the first court in the Mushroom Tourney and the game. A basic court with no gimmicks, this stadium is a good choice for a game of pure basketball. It looks just like a regular stadium, complete with stands, a big screen, and some banners on the sides that has the Square Enix logo, and the Nintendo logo. There is an audience of Shy Guys, Goombas, Piantas and Toads cheering for the players. It is also where all the tutorials are held, and in this mode, the stadium has different music. The music used in the Mario Stadium is also used in Glare Desert. On can see a Small Mario from Super Mario Bros. chasing 2 Goombas in a Super Mario Bros. setting.

Mario Sports Mix

Template:MSM-infobox The same court also appears in Mario Sports Mix in which the player can play all four sports there, and this is also where all of the tutorial movies take place so players can learn how to play all of these sports. The arena can be a basketball court, an ice hockey rink, a dodgeball court, or a volleyball court. The crowd is also in the arena, including Piantas, Birdos, Koopa Troopas, and Miis cheering for the teams during a match. In Bob-omb Dodge, it is one of three courts that the players must avoid Bob-ombs there.

Mario Tennis Open

The Mario Stadium Grass court.

Mario Stadium appears in Mario Tennis Open as the holder of the traditional Grass, Hard and Clay tennis courts. It is one of the many courts playable from the beginning. It is a starting court, like the Peach Dome courts in its predecessor, Mario Power Tennis. Mario Stadium is where basic tennis courts such as the Hard Court, the Clay Court, and the Grass Court take place in. As mentioned before, all these courts don't need to be unlocked. Like all stadium courts in the sports series, the Crowd appears with Toads, Shy Guys, and Koopas cheering on the players or teams. The player also plays in Mario Stadium in the Special Game, Ink Showdown. All three courts appear in the final World Open tournament, the Champions Cup.
