Template:Character-infobox Cubot is a robot built by Dr. Eggman to wait on him hand and foot and serves as one of his assistants. Cubot's main jobs are assisting Dr. Eggman in his schemes for world domination and making sure the processes of his plans are carried out correctly along with his counterpart Orbot. While Cubot is loyal to Eggman, he is dim-witted, lazy and will try to avoid work. He also has a faulty voice chip which causes him to randomly switch between different accents.
History
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Cubot appears as a referee in a number of different Events. Cubot also performs a variety of roles in London Party mode, where he appears as a ? mark effect with Orbot to copy one of the player's stickers onto another empty space on their sheet, provide dialogue for Metal Sonic when he is spoken to and also chase the players and try to trap them in cages in the Orbot & Cubot Tag! minigame.
In the Nintendo 3DS version of the game, Cubot appears as a referee in Long Jump and Triple Jump, indicating whether or not the player performed a foul by crossing the takeoff line. In the story mode, Cubot appears in the Tricksters bonus episodes, where he and Orbot suggest that Dr. Eggman may have programmed Metal Sonic to intentionally lose to him, but after refusing to challenge Metal Sonic he unsuccessfully tries to set up a match for Metal Sonic with Waluigi. The pair then try to use Dr. Eggman's way of convincing Waluigi on Wario, but when this fails Dr. Eggman offers their labour as a prize for Wario if he wins the match. Cubot later watches Dr. Eggman successfully create a Sonic Fog Imposter, but is confused when it disappears, prompting Dr. Eggman to explain the fog. When he accuses Dr. Eggman of not training for the Olympic Games, Dr. Eggman chases him and threatens to replace his voice chip. A badge of Cubot can also be obtained from the badge machine.
