Supersyrup Jars, originally known as Super Syrups, are consumables that appear in the Mario & Luigi series as one of the main items in the games. When consumed, they restore a certain amount of Bros. Points to their consumer. They are usable both during and outside of a battle. They all have the ability to heal special stats that allow the use of special moves.

History

Mario & Luigi series

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Syrups recover 40 Bros. Points to one person when used. They are sold at Castle Town Item Shop after Mom Piranha is defeated and Little Fungitown Item Shop from the first visit for fifty coins. Several enemies have a chance of dropping them after a battle: Malibuts have a 25.81% chance, Bloopers have a 22.58% chance, Sand-Cheeps have a 12.9% chance, and Spinies, Super Flies, and Paratroopeas have a 100% chance only if the Game Boy Horror SP is held.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Super Syrups recover 35 Bros. Points instead of 40.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story / Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Supersyrup Jars recover twenty Special Points (the equivalent of Superstar Saga's Bros Points) when one is swallowed. Fawfloppers have a 30% chance of dropping a Syrup Jar after fighting them, Beehosses have a 20% chance, Sniffle Thwomps have a 10% chance, and Airnapses, Fawflants, and Peps have a 5% chance.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, Supersyrup Jars recover thirty-five Bros. Points instead of twenty; Bowser's equivalent in the remake is the Super Cheese.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Supersyrup Jars have the same function as in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, restoring forty Bros. points on use. They can be bought from item shops after their inventory is updated for the first time for sixty coins. A few enemies have chance of dropping a Supersyrup Jar after winning against them, including Flibbee Rs, Lob-ombs, and Ticksquawks with a 5% chance.
