A Winged Strollin' Stu

A Winged Strollin' Stu[1], also known as winged Goomba[2] and Name Kuri (wings)[3], is a type of Strollin' Stu appearing in the game Super Mario Sunshine. They resemble a pink Strollin' Stu without feet with a blue bottom, and possess a set of insect-like wings on their backs that allows them to fly. They often hover in one place, but when they notice Mario, they start to approach and fly around him. When they are directly above Mario, they swoop down, inflicting one point of damage on Mario if they hit him. As with other members of their species, a simple squirt with F.L.U.D.D. or a stomp defeats them.

Winged Strollin' Stus are only found in the Pinna Park level on the beach in Episode 3, as well as the Hotel Delfino's secret level in Sirena Beach.

There is also a variety of Winged Strollin' Stus called a Swipin' Stu, which is able to steal the Mario Cap.
