Cowgirl at Dusk is a stage in Princess Peach: Showtime!, located on the left in the third floor of the Sparkle Theater. This stage is unlocked after clearing all of 2F. It is the second stage where the Cowgirl transformation appears.

Layout

The stage begins with Princess Peach in her Cowgirl form, arriving at a Western city. After a while, a train controlled by the Sour Bunch dashes in and overruns the city, destroying it completely while the surrounding Theets worry about the towns up ahead.

As the horse shows up to let Peach ride on her, they gallop through a two-lane road with the Dark Locomotive on a lane further up. They catch up to the locomotive, as Peach jumps off the horse and onto the roof of the carts. Making it across the roofs and down onto a damaged cart, a Theet tells her to continue getting through the following carts in order to stop the train.

As the locomotive ended up damaged enough that only the front engine remained and gained speed, the horse returns and lets Peach jump on it, this time pursuing the front locomotive cart into a three-lane road.

When getting onto the road, sceneries begin falling down around Peach in large amounts, who need to get hold of a barrel with her lasso and throw it into the rear coal tank of the locomotive, and then tear its lower right wheel off with her lasso. The locomotive begins leaning heavily nose-up as it tries to catch up to the slight lead Peach have got, eventually ramming into a particularly large rock, cathing fire and banking heavily to the right. As Peach grabs on to the exhaust pipe and stops it at last, Peach and the horse decide their job is done.

Sparkle Gems

Sparkle Gems marked with an asterisk ⁽*⁾ will always be obtained during regular gameplay.

  1. Found in the horse section, inside a saloon. Cowgirl Peach must take the Bottom Lane at one part to reach this area. Once inside the saloon, Peach must move inwards to a Top Lane that is inside the saloon to get within range of the Gem.
  2. Obtained after collecting all eight Sparkle pieces during the horse section.
  3. Found at the end of the roof section on the train.*
  4. Found inside a sub-area located on the train past the roof section. Peach must strike a pose to enter the sub-area. To obtain the Sparkle Gem, Cowgirl Peach must free all three Theets from barrels.
  5. Found on a Sour Bunch horse in the background while Peach is on the train. Cowgirl Peach must lasso barrels and toss them at the horse before it leaves. The horse is protected by Sour Bunch members on horses, so Peach must time her attacks.
  6. Found moving along with barrels and crates on the train.
  7. Obtained after destroying the train.*

Stella Ribbon

Cowgirl Ribbon: On the train to the left, after dropping down from the roof running section, the Ribboner can be found stuck in a barrel. After freeing him from the barrel, he awards Peach the Stella Ribbon.

  • Help request: "I am NOT someone's luggage!"
  • Rescue message: "Now where is my seat..."

Postgame hidden Theets

  1. Found along the wall in the first section of the stage, where the horse arrives.
  2. Found on the roof of the train to the left.
  3. In the area on the train where there are lots of barrels to throw at Sour Bunch cowboys.
