One of the Balloon Elevators in Bowser's Castle on Wayaway Island.

Balloon Elevators are helium-filled contraptions bearing a Bowser insignia, found within Bowser's Castle on Wayaway Island in Mario & Luigi: Brothership.

The elevator first appears upon entering the castle, where Bowser's Minions demonstrate it. After Mario and Luigi defeat them at the main entrance, Kamek orders the lava doors to open, flooding the lower level and preventing access to the elevator. The brothers must navigate through the castle to raise a lever that stops the flow of lava, allowing them to reach and hit a ! Block to descend the elevator.

These elevators operate using Connectar Plugs, which can be plugged into a socket on the elevator. These plugs can be activated or deactivated using the Fire & Ice move. Additionally, Mario and Luigi can jump on top of the elevator using the moves on the plugs while standing next to the platform, allowing them to access higher pathways. The brothers must utilize the Balloon Elevators throughout the towering sections of the castle to reach Bowser's throne room on the third floor.
