Template:Kart-infobox The Cucumber is Yoshi's second original kart in Mario Kart DS. It resembles a green 1930s single-seater racing car or a sandrail. The emblem is located on the hood. It has average speed and weight, low drift, and high acceleration, handling, and items.

The kart is unlocked for Luigi and Dry Bones as well when the player gets gold trophies in all Nitro or Retro Courses in 150cc, and becomes available for everyone else when gold trophies are obtained in every cup in Mirror Mode.

The Classic Dragster from Mario Kart Wii resembles the Cucumber.

A similar looking vehicle, called the Zucchini (Gherkin in Europe), appeared in Mario Kart 7.

The Cucumber reappears in Mario Kart Tour. Introduced in the Berlin Tour, it is classified as a Super kart, and the duration of Slipstream boosts and points earned from performing one are increased. It uses the Off-Road tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Two variations of the Cucumber, called the Dasher II and Iron Cucumber, are also introduced in Mario Kart Tour.
