Spindleburrs[1] are enemies in the Honeybloom Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They specifically get in the way of Bee Mario in the mission Bumble Beginnings. They have retractable red spikes. Unlike rubbery bulbs, they are able to physically move themselves and therefore try to damage Mario or Luigi by extending their spiky ends at him. However, they cannot reach very far.
