Opening Night is a microgame found in WarioWare: Smooth Moves in 9-Volt & 18-Volt's stage. It features sprites from classic Family Computer and NES games, as well as music.
Gameplay[edit]
The object is to wave the Wii Remote in the 4/4 conducting pattern to conduct the orchestra through a music track (see below). Once done, the player's Mii (the conductor) will bow to the audience.
- Level 1: The player must conduct Mario, Luigi and Link to play very short music lasting four seconds, including:
- Super Mario Bros. 3 "Athletic Theme"
- Super Mario Bros. 3 Boom Boom/Koopaling victory theme
- Super Mario Bros. 3 lose theme
- Super Mario Bros. overworld/lose theme
- Donkey Kong level start theme
- Level 2: The player must conduct Mario, Luigi, Link, Toad and Pit to play long music lasting either four or eight seconds, including:
- Super Mario Bros. 3 level goal theme
- Mario Bros. main theme
- Dr. Mario level settings theme
- Clu Clu Land game over/level clear theme
- Level 3: The player must conduct Mario, Luigi, Link, Pit, Samus, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong to play longer music lasting eight seconds, including:
- Kid Icarus underworld theme
- Super Mario Bros. level goal theme
- Excitebike main theme
- The Legend of Zelda overworld theme
