Advance Coins,[1][2] also known as Ace Coins[3] or A-Coins,[3] are items in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. These coins appear only in the World-e levels. Advance Coins are similar to Ace Coins in appearance, except yellow instead of red. Unlike Ace Coins, they spin before being collected. There are one to five Advance Coins in every level and 147 Advance Coins in total. If Mario or Luigi collects all the Advance Coins in a level, he earns an extra life, similar to the functionality of Dragon Coins or Ace Coins.
