Spindleburrs[1] are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are rubbery bulbs that have retractable red spikes. They are encountered only in the Honeybloom Galaxy, getting in Bee Mario's way in the mission Bumble Beginnings. Unlike rubbery bulbs, they are able to physically move themselves and, therefore, try to damage Mario or Luigi by extending their spiky ends at him. However, like rubbery bulbs, they cannot reach very far.
