Refreshing Herbs are items in the Mario & Luigi series used to get rid of any status ailments on the playable character, such as Poison or Fury. Refreshing Herbs resemble four-leaf clovers, and they can generally be bought in shops for low prices. They can also occasionally be found in ? Blocks.

In EarthBound, items called Refreshing Herbs have exactly the same name and function as in the Mario & Luigi series, although they resemble flowering tree branches instead of four-leaf clovers.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Refreshing Herbs are sold at the Castle Town Item Shop and the Little Fungitown Item Shop from the first visit, and one can be purchased for 30 coins.

Refreshing Herbs can also be found from certain enemies, which have a chance of dropping a Refreshing Herb when defeated. Regardless of which version of the game is played, Fuzzbushes, Yellow Viruses, Pestnuts on the Oho Ocean Seabed, and Puffer-Cheeps can drop Refreshing Herbs. In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Refreshing Herbs can be purchased from any item shop in the game for 5 coins. They can also once again be found by defeating certain enemies, including Calorites with a 20% drop rate, Borps with a 30% drop rate, and Sockops with a 10% drop rate.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, the drop rates for Refreshing Herbs have been increased to 50% from Calorites, 35% from Borps, and 40% from Sockops.
