The Paint Star Pieces are items in Paper Mario: Color Splash. They are the pieces of the blue Mini Paint Star in the Sacred Forest, and there are five in total. The Mini Paint Star was taken apart by several Small Goomba Gangs, who took the pieces throughout the level. Once Mario collects all five pieces, he can repair the Mini Paint Star.
Locations of the Paint Star Pieces
- Paint Star Piece 1: The first Paint Star Piece can be found being held by a Small Cheep Cheep. After Mario defeats the Small Cheep Cheep, he can collect the piece.
- Paint Star Piece 2: The second Paint Star Piece can be found sitting on the ground. When Mario tries to collect it, some Small Goomba Wheels attack him. After they are defeated, Mario can collect the piece.
- Paint Star Piece 3: The third Paint Star Piece can be found in the Sacred Tree. Mario must hit the tree with his hammer to make the piece fall, but it also causes a Small Goomba Gang to fall. After Mario defeats the Small Goomba Gang, he can collect the piece.
- Paint Star Piece 4: The fourth Paint Star Piece can be found in the middle of several Small Goomba Gangs. Mario can use a nearby Super Star to defeat the Small Goomba Gangs and collect the piece.
- Paint Star Piece 5: The fifth Paint Star Piece can be found on the ceiling of a cave. Mario must hit the wall with his hammer to make the piece fall, though a Small Buzzy Beetle Gang also falls. After Mario defeats the Small Buzzy Beetle Gang, he can collect the piece.
