Tree Heihō are tree-carrying Shy Guys from Yoshi's New Island. The tree can be identified by its noticeable stubby length. When Yoshi is within proximity on-screen, the Tree Heihō pops out from underneath the tree and uproots it to move it from Yoshi. The Tree Heihō can escape off-screen, so Yoshi must defeat it in time in order to save the tree or jump on the tree while it is being carried away. The tree is used as a platform to access higher areas, which often contain certain items.
