Crafty Tropics is the second race of the Leaf Cup in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. This course features a tropical vibe reminiscent to that of a jungle. The bottom corners of the screen share a slight green tint, while the upper corners have leaves hanging from them, similar to the Piranha Paradise and Wibble Woods tracks. Poison Piranha Plants appear between the games, spitting poison to create puddles in the path of the racers. Driving into a puddle causes purple goop to cover the bottom corners of the screen briefly, slightly obscuring the player's vision. This race reuses the music from Mario Kart 8's 3DS Piranha Plant Slide for its theme. The course's icon depicts Luigi in his Painter Outfit on the Box Kart being spitted at by Poison Piranha Plants.

Gates[edit]

Half of the gates in this course follow the atmosphere of the level, depicting the logo on a wooden board wrapped in roots. Half of the gates are made of Warp Pipes dispensing Item Boxes at intervals.

  • Gate 1: No additional properties.
  • Gate 2: Has an Item Pipe.
  • Gate 3: No additional properties.
  • Gate 4: Has an Item Pipe.
