"Happy New Year from The Play Nintendo Show!" is a video released on Play Nintendo's YouTube channel. Just like "Happy Holidays from The Play Nintendo Show!", this video acts as a trailer for episodes of The Play Nintendo Show releasing in 2017.

Plot synopsis[edit]

Andrew Trego and Izzy are modifying Worthington's head when Jenna walks in, who asks them what they are doing. Andrew reminds Jenna about his New Year's resolution: creating a new course in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS every week. This resolution made Andrew and Izzy think about what other things they can made, which lead them to create the "Party Machine 2000". Andrew asks Jenna to push the green button on it, which causes the party blowers on the machine to blow and confetti to fly as a robotic voice says "Happy New Year, Nintendo fans!", which the machine malfunctions to say before Andrew fixes it. Andrew tells the viewer to like and subscribe as well as to not miss a single episode of The Play Nintendo Show nor the game's covered. Jenna then notices Worthington's head, and asks Andrew to confirm if it is true, which Andrew jokingly asks her if she is Worthington's head. Worthington compliments Andrew's joke, confirming Jenna's suspicions. The video ends with the logo from the beginning of the video, now with text underneath it reading "Happy New Year!"
