Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS Super Mario Challenge levels

World 4-4 is the fourth and last level of World 4 of the Super Mario Challenge from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. It is set in the castle theme and the New Super Mario Bros. U style. It is centered around Midair Spinning. After this course is beaten for the first time, Fire Piranha Plants and Mushroom Platforms become unlocked in Course Maker.

Course layout[edit]

The player starts out in a room with three ? Blocks, one of which contains a Super Mushroom. After entering the Warp Pipe, the player lands on some ground. Two Semi-solid Platforms appear with Coins above the second one. Coins help guide the player to the ledge, but if this is failed, they can try again due to ground below. Then the player climbs three Semi-solid Platforms to perform the next one, which, if failed, makes the player fall through One-Way Walls. The player can climb a wall, but without spinning between the walls, no progress can be made up it. Up there, the 1-Up Mushroom can be in a ? Block. The player must fall back down. After this, the player needs to get to Donut Blocks, which help them get to the next area, but if this is failed, Mario goes past the One-Way Walls. After this, the player needs to get to the Flimsy Lift with wings, which help them get to the pipe. Failing means going through One-Way Walls and the player must climb back up to try again. After going through the pipe, the axe is near. Big Bowser Jr. on top of Big Bowser prevents the player from cheating, and a Conveyor Belt going right prevents them from leaving that area. However, if coins are followed, they set a safe path to the axe.

Challenges[edit]

  • Goomba - Get a 1-Up Mushroom and then reach the goal.
  • Bowser - Reach the goal with at least 265 left on the clock.
