World 7, also known as the Cloud World,[1] is the seventh world of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It takes place up in the sky, featuring several clouds and high cliffs. It appears to take place above World 1, due to its mushroom-like hills. However, it does contain several unique enemies in its stages, and is highly abundant in items (mostly Ice Flowers, Fire Flowers, and Propeller Mushrooms). Ludwig is the boss of the world, and he is fought in World 7-Tower and World 7-Castle. The Enemy Course in this area contains a single Lakitu that throws Spinies on a stage with Jump Blocks. There are also various Toad Houses, including two yellow ones that contain Stars. It has nine levels and a total of eleven exits.

The background music for World 7 was remixed as the background music for World 6 in Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition.

World 7-Tower World 7-Tower (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) A level with mainly a Tilt Lift while also having many Bullet Bills and Bob-ombs
World 7-Ghost House World 7-Ghost House (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) A Ghost House with several Broozers, a lot of which are near barrels
World 7-4 World 7-4 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) There are several Bullet Bills, Banzai Bills, and moving Pipes.
World 7-5 World 7-5 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) The only level with Foos, which appear throughout, as well as Mini Goombas.
World 7-6 Mario hopping on Para-Beetles in World 7-6 There are several Para-Beetles and Heavy Para-Beetles to jump across and the last level with Yoshi.
World 7-Castle World 7-Castle (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) A castle level with Skewers as the main obstacle. Ludwig is fought again here.
