This article is about a subject in an upcoming or recently released game. When the game is released, or more information about this subject is found, this article may need major rewriting. This notice should be removed after a month has passed since the game was first released.

This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

The Sound Gallery is a feature in the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, located in the Journal sub-menu. It allows the player to listen to any music from the game in both their new arrangements made for the Nintendo Switch remake or the original tracks when the Nostalgic Tunes badge is equipped. Tracks not present in the GameCubeoriginal will be greyed out from the list when equipped with the Nostalgic Tunes badge.

Music tracks are categorized by chapter, except Rogueport tracks and Special tracks, which have different conditions on how to be unlocked.

  • Chapter tracks are unlocked by collecting every Shine Sprite in a chapter, with the added requirement of presenting that chapter's Crystal Star to The Thousand-Year Door. The tracks will still unlock even if Mario collects all Shine Sprites from that chapter after standing in front of The Thousand-Year Door.
  • Rogueport tracks are unlocked after collecting every Shine Sprite within Rogueport and the Rogueport Underground.
  • Special tracks are unlocked after defeating the Shadow Queen and completing the game.

Additional tracks may have extra requirements, such as the player needing to beat an optional boss character first before their battle theme becomes available.
