Water Shooters are devices appearing in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2. They look and function in a very similar manner to Squirt Nozzle used by F.L.U.D.D. in Super Mario Sunshine, though Water Shooters are blue in color while F.L.U.D.D. is yellow, and the water produced is in the form of a bubble, rather than a spray. These bubbles, while harmless, will capture Mario or Luigi and whisk them away on contact, generally serving as a hindrance, but occasionally are used to transport the player elsewhere. If Mario or Luigi are caught in a bubble, using the spin will break them out. | Water Shooters are devices appearing in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2. History
Super Mario Galaxy
Water Shooters first appear in Super Mario Galaxy. They appear in the Honeyhive Galaxy, Sand Spiral Galaxy, Buoy Base Galaxy, and Deep Dark Galaxy.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
The Water Shooters also appear in the sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2. Here, they appear in the Space Storm Galaxy's second mission, which is more or less based upon the Buoy Base Galaxy. They are in the first section with the fast-moving floor. They also shoot bubbles faster than before, though they can be slowed down with a ground-pound switch. They also appear in Starshine Beach Galaxy and Honeyhop Galaxy.
