Horned Ant Trooper

Template:Species-infobox Horned Ant Troopers are blue ant enemies with striped bodies and yellow eyes that first appeared in the Wii U game, Super Mario 3D World. They are introduced in World 4-1, Ant Trooper Hill.

Horned Ant Troopers have a pair of antennae, red feet, an overbite and wear a spiked orange helmet on their bodies. Despite the spiked helmet, they can be jumped on if they are walking along a vertical surface. Horned Ant Troopers attack by marching (sometimes out of holes or pipes) and will keep walking on to walls. They are vulnerable to Ground Pounds, projectiles and both Cat Mario and Tanooki Mario's attacks.

They make their first appearance in the Mario & Luigi series, as well as their first appearance in a handheld game, in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam as enemies, but their helmet can fall off making them normal Ant Troopers. Like some other enemies they have no paper counterparts.
