- —Spinia, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Spinias are green creatures made of thin, papery discs in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They commonly appear in Rogueport Underground alongside their later-found spiked version called Spanias. As their name suggests, they and their attacks are derived from "spinner". Spinias and Spanias are also found in the Pit of 100 Trials, which also features the very powerful Spunias. Two Spinias also appear in Chapter 3 where they help make up The Destructors, a Glitz Pit team who served as a replacement for Bandy Andy who had "retired". However, The Destructors exit the rankings when Bandy Andy comes back and takes their place.

Tattle | That's a Spinia. A totally weird creature made of thin, papery boards. It certainly looks unique. Nobody knows much about these creatures, actually. Max HP is 3, Attack is 1, and Defense is 0. Its attacks are super-swift, but it should be pretty easy. Just give it a "Hee-YAAA!" |

Trivia
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door's data reveals what could possibly be another Spinia variant (seemingly a hamburger-themed one); this Spinia-like creature was supposedly going to be an ally of Luigi, as its sprite could be found next to those of Luigi's other partners.
- In the Tattle Log, there is no space in between "HP" and "3" for Spinia.
