- “I'm looking for this guy who defrauded me with a fake credit card the other day. If you find that jerk, give him a whupping for me!”
- —Goomther, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Goomther is a Goomba who wears a green hat around in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His name is a portmanteau of "Goomba" and the German name "Günther". He seems to get ripped off a lot, as whenever talked to, he bemoans having, for instance, his credit card stolen by Larson. All he does all day is walk around Rogueport, where he lives.
Tattle[edit]
- "That's Goomther the Goomba. He's always grumbling about getting ripped off... ...He must be easy to con. Which isn't to say that we should con him, of course!"
When Goombella joins Mario's party, she uses Goomther for a demonstration of her Tattle ability.
- "That's Goomther the Goomba. He's always complaining about being swindled or mugged..."
