The Commando Kinopio is a subdivision sniper force of the Kinoko Police that appears in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 6 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. The Toads in the squad have mimetic vests and mushroom caps, sunglasses, and bullet belts.
While surrounding Bowser's hideout after he kidnapped Princess Peach, the Kinoko Police tries to lure him out by pretending that his concerned mother is there. Bowser falls for it and, while climbing out the barricade, the snipers shoot him. Fortunately, his study shell protects him from any harm, and in dropping a crate of oranges, Bowser discovers that his mother was actually Yoshi in disguise, prompting him to return behind the barricade.
