The Nintendo Museum Official Book Vol. 01 is a guidebook for the Nintendo Museum released by Nintendo on October 2, 2025, as part of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary.[1] The book includes explanations of the exhibits featured at the museum and a special feature about the anniversary. The book is available in Japanese and English at the Art Gallery, though visitors can purchase only one copy of the book per visit, with their play ticket being scanned to confirm if they have made a purchase that day.[2]
Contents[edit]
The Nintendo Museum Official Book Vol. 01 is divided into two sections. The first section includes a short history of the Nintendo Uji Ogura Plant and descriptions of the museum's exhibits, divided by building and floor: the product exhibits (including the ? Block themed exhibit), the interactive exhibits, Bonus Stage, Hatena Burger, and the hanafuda workshop. It also includes a list of all Nintendo Museum-exclusive merchandise as of September 2025. The second section of the book, named "Super Mario Bros. 40th Special Feature", is dedicated to the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary. It includes an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Koji Kondo, and Toshihiko Nakago in which they discuss and reminisce about the series, a timeline of the series' games with descriptions, a part about the history of Mario before Super Mario Bros., and original concept drawings and sketches. The last page of the book includes a Super Mario Bros. Warp Pipe–shaped insert to store a Nintendo Museum play ticket.
