Nintendo Week is a video series that was available via the Nintendo Channel on the Wii. The show was produced by Popular Arts Entertainment[1] and published by Nintendo. The show is hosted by Gary and Alison, who present news on upcoming titles for the Nintendo DS, Wii, WiiWare, Nintendo DSi, and Nintendo 3DS, as well as tips on recently released titles and information on real-world promotional events held by Nintendo. In addition, the show is the source of two Big Name Games that were distributed for WarioWare: D.I.Y.

The series ran from September 14, 2009 to March 29, 2012. It was later succeeded by a similar show, Nintendo Minute, on the official Nintendo of America YouTube channel.[2]

  • Gary, played by Gary Culig,[1] is the male of two co-hosts, alongside Alison and later Dark Gary. He was co-host for the entire duration of the show's run. At the end of the show, he is revealed to be an alien.[3] Gary's Big Name Game is SayThatAgain.
  • Alison, played by Alison Whitney,[4] is the female of two co-hosts, debuting with the start of the show and remaining co-host until February 2, 2012, where she departs the show after revealing herself to be an alien, and is beamed into space.[5] Alison's Big Name Game is LUNCH BREAK.
  • Dark Gary, debuting on September 28, 2009, is a self-proclaimed "Dark" version of Gary, based loosely on Dark Samus.[6] He makes sporadic appearances throughout the show's runtime, occasionally hosting his own one-off segments. After Alison's departure, Dark Gary becomes the new co-host on February 9, 2012,[7] and remains the co-host alongside Gary until the end of the show. Dark Gary is mostly distinguished by his black beanie, his gravely voice, and his habit of saying "bros". At the end of the show, it is implied he is beamed into the same alien spaceship as Gary and Alison.[3] While Dark Gary did not create a Big Name Game, his hat appears in LUNCH BREAK.
