Pika Pika Mario is an arcade machine released by Banpresto in 1992. It uses artwork from Super Mario World.

Details[edit]

The machine has lights of Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and a Koopa Troopa. One of each is on a column, totaling three columns with five characters each. Out of the five lights per column, one is on at any time, and the active light quickly cycles downward through the column. Each column has a button that stops the lights from flashing and makes them land on a character. The player has to time their button presses to do this for every character. Lights for Iggy and Wendy are also seen above the aforementioned lights, but it is unknown what role these have in the gameplay. While footage does exist, it is hard to decipher what the gameplay was.
