- —Rob-omb, Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)
Rob-ombs are a stronger variety of Bob-omb found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and its remake. They can often be found walking in simple patterns in the stairwells of Booster Tower. Also, Booster himself keeps a personal store of Rob-ombs on his private train. Like other Bob-ombs in the game, Rob-ombs can attack only by self-destructing and damaging an opponent. In the remake, a Rob-omb appears in one of the action courses in The Trial Course in a room where Mario has to avoid Bob-ombs while rolling an iron ball. A Rob-omb moves along a fixed path near the end of the room and is faster than the regular Bob-ombs.
