The mission infobox is used to display information on the many self-contained missions which are found within levels in 3D Super Mario games or other similar structures. For the entire level they are found in (such as Bob-omb Battlefield), use {{course infobox}} for linear 2D levels, use {{level infobox}}.

Syntax
|label= The type of mission, if the game has a specific term for it (e.g. "Episode" for Super Mario Sunshine). By default, it displays as "Mission".
|title= By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified.
|location= The larger level the mission is found in (e.g. "Big Bad Bugaboom" is found at Honeyhive Galaxy).
|initiator= Which character, if any, gives the mission to the player (e.g. The Trouble Center mission "Seeking legendary book!" is given by Zess T.).
|number= The number of the mission in relation to other missions (e.g. "To the Top of the Fortress" is the second mission in Whomp's Fortress).
|game= Which game or games the mission appears in.
|boss= Which boss, if any, is fought in this mission (e.g. the boss of "Gooper Blooper Breaks Out" is Gooper Blooper).
|track= The name of the music track that plays during the mission.
|previous= Links to the preceding level or levels. Include the full level name.[Proposal 1]
|next= Links to the following level or levels. Include the full level name.[Proposal 1]
|directory= Links to the full lists of levels, usually found in the game's article itself. Include the full level name.[Proposal 1]
