Template:Species-infobox Blocksteppers[1] are enemies first appearing in Super Mario 3D World. They are red "blocks" with feet and cornet-like mouths. They also wear brown soldier hats and have wind-up keys in their backs. Their name is a combination of "block", which they resemble, and "lockstep", referring to their synchronized marching formation.

Blocksteppers return in the game's port, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. In the Bowser's Fury campaign, Blocksteppers gain Cat versions of themselves, which are identical to normal ones except that they have cat ears. They act identically to their non-cat counterparts and appear in Pounce Bounce Isle.
