Dhalsim and several other characters from the Street Fighter II series appear in the Club Nintendo comic "Super Mario Klemp-Won-Do: Muskeln sind nicht alles!". He can be seen laughing along with the others when Mario decides to enter the "Street Fighter II grandmaster" tournament.
Mario advances to the finals of the tourney by defeating Zangief, Chun-Li, and Blanka, with the final match pitting Mario against Dhalsim. Dhalsim appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an Ace-class support spirit. It requires two support slots to use. When used on a fighter, the spirit grants them immunity to lava floors. To obtain the spirit, it has to be summoned with a Fire Man and Great Tiger core.
