Metroid-Samus is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! It is set in the NES game Metroid, specifically the original Family Computer Disk System version. It returns in WarioWare Gold as one of 18-Volt's microgames, with updated visuals based on the SNES game Super Metroid.

Gameplay[edit]

The player must tilt the Game Boy Advance or Nintendo 3DS to have Samus aim her Arm Cannon to shoot the enemies. Samus has infinite ammunition, so if she misses, she can fire again. If she fails to kill them, the player loses.

  • Level 1: Samus must defeat a slow-moving Ripper (Twisted!) or Zeela (Gold). These enemies take relatively linear paths.
  • Level 2: Samus must defeat a fast-moving Waver (Twisted!) or two stationary Meros (Gold). Wavers will zig-zag their path.
  • Level 3: Samus must keep a Metroid from reaching her until time runs out.
