Not to be confused with Rough Puff.

Template:Species-infobox Ruff Puffs are cloud enemies that appear in the Paper Mario series. They attack by bonking people in the head in the first game and slamming into them in the latter two. A Ruff Puff's signature move is its ability to charge up for electric attacks. Ruff Puffs are the followers of Huff N. Puff, and so along with the giant cloud they invaded Flower Fields in the original Paper Mario. The name "Ruff Puff" comes from a corruption of the word "rough", while the "puff" part of their name refers to them being puffy clouds.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they appear inside Riverside Station, and are the only Puff to not appear in the Rogueport Pit of 100 Trials. In Super Paper Mario, Ruff Puffs appear in the Overthere Stair and in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials.

Log A relative of the Dark Puff... or perhaps just a different-colored one. It charges up and shocks you with lightning.
Tattle This is a Ruff Puff. Don't confuse them with Dark Puffs... Although I don't think the world would end if you DID confuse them, but anyway... Max HP is 7, Attack is 4, and Defense is 0. They swoop at you or charge themselves with electricity before unleashing lightning. Oh, and if you touch them while they're charged, you'll get a shock!

Tattle That's a Ruff Puff. It floats in the sky, like a little grumpy thundercloud... Max HP is 15 and Attack is 4. It will shock you if you get too close... You'd better keep your distance until you see an opening to attack... Do you think it's related to the cloud Lakitu rides around on?
